The cable goes underground to the garage approx 5 metres away. In the garage there is a junction box, from which a double socket is powered as is the lighting of 4 flourescent lights.

The cable supplying the garage is a 1mm 3 core, which comes off a double socket that supplies the fridge, which is under a working surface.Between that and the garage someone has put another double socket(which is live but isn't needed) under the working surface.

I am fitting an outside security light,I have an electrical supply running between the house and garage. Can I just put a junction box off that supply and fit my light to the new box with a outside switch?

I am having an electric hob exchanged for a gas one, which is being fitted profesionally, but I also have an electric oven which will be replaced for a new electric oven. Do I need an electrician to do this or can I connect the new one myself?

I have a new shower room installed and I would like to fit an extractor fan through the wall. Is this as straight forward as I imagine ie, knock hole through outside wall, install fan and connect to light pull switch, or is there something else I need to know??

Is there a product on the market to enclose my water/waste pipes at skirting level in my new bathroom, which is easier to install, rather than boxing them in with timber batons and ply?

My central heating is a bit hit and miss at the mo'. A radiator downstairs is always cold and due to the previous owner putting in a pair of patio doors, I am also missing a radiator (rough b#*$t**d!!). Anyway, the cold radiator has now started to make a slight tapping noise- any ideas?

It was spurred off a socket on the opposite side of the wall which is a different room.
