I need to put up some shelves in my bedroom. The house was built in the late 60s and someone suggested I get Stud Finder to find where the wooden studs are.
The wall they they are going on is room dividing wall and its not brick.
Can anyone suggest a good Budget Stud Finder?
Thanks :)

I have a Mira Jump Shower.
The other day I noticed it goes hot even when the switch is set to cold. The only way to get it to cold is to put it on Eco setting.
New thermostat needed, switch or new shower?
I need to paint a garden clothes pole. I have sanded and washed it all down.
The top part though was quite rusty and I had to use wire brush attachment on my drill and sand paper.
Could I use some blue Hammerite Paint that I have as primer before painting? Would it be ok then to just paint...
All done! In the end I just used my friend Stanley lol. Whittled bits of the shaft until it would go in the head. It split a bit with the metal wedge but there is no way its coming off! LOL.
Thanks All. :)
That's what I thought thanks. I also got a shaft for a Chipping Hammer. They both come with 1 metal wedge. The chipping hammer seems fine though with just the one metal wedge. But its not as heavy as the Lump.
Being serious for a moment a few years back the woman next door son was going to cut the lawn in just bare feet and sandals!
I saw him from my window and went out and told him never to do that!
Always wear sensible shoes for cutting lawns folks. Leather ones or boots.
