Thanks I think it may be because there is some strain on it, as its pulling slightly against the fitting, its all rather tight but may need to make the hole bigger that the pipe goes through.... its such a pain when you have done all that work and you end up with one connector thats not going...

Hi If i am taking the sink and washing machine waste through the outside wall and into an open drain, are there any regs or considerations to take in to account? i.e the height above the drain that the pipe terminates, or the height it comes out of the wall above the drain? Cheers Ian

And on that optimistic note :) The humidity will be fine its an open plan kitchen dinning area, so wont be getting that humid, and of course engineered Oak is very stable..... as for leaks, the washing machine is in the utility room, so only a dishwasher, if the worse happens then thats what...
