Or is it better to just use a thinned down coat on bare concrete then a normal strength coat on top?

Ok, The concrete will be rough finish so hopefully wont need the etch it but do I need to use a sealent with this paint?

Plumber came around and took off the shut off valve, not sure thats the correct name, but he put back together maybe replaced a seal and seems ok now - no more dripping! He said it may not work and he would replace valve but its been 3 or 4 days.

Hi All, Just an update for the record. Loft conversion too expensive really with a W truss roof, also getting stairs up would either mean a dormer or losing most of the smalletst bedroom to accomadate a staircase, so our solution in the end is to move! Thanks

The architect has said loft conversion is feasible, stairs is a bit of a problem may need space saver or come from another room, or add a dormer. He talked about not using RSJ's but using telescopic beams, does he mean telebeam and are there not any alternatives? As telebeam seem quite expensive.
