no question is stupid if you dont know the answer  What you say is correct a normal room would have 4 internals and the chimney breast that protrudes into a room would have 2 externals. If that is the case in your room you would have 2 more internals cos of the chimney breast 8) clear...

Q1 hard to say without seeing it. Personaly I always line when papering. It does give a sound base and looks better for it. Q2 In a word no. Used to be the case when lining paper and wallpaper were the same size. They arn't anymore. The main reason was so the seams did not fall on top of each...

    Varnishing Internal Pine Doors

De-nib......when you run your hand over the varnished item you will feel some rough spots. They will be bits of dust hairs etc etc that have settled on the surface. Wire wool .....much less abrasive than sandpaper and will not leave embedded grit in the varnish. Tack cloth.....no amount of...

    Painting Kitchen

no no and no again do not put PVA/Unibond on your walls. Do not put it anywhere near your walls. Throw it in the bin. Its not what it was made for and WILL cause you probs down the road. Esp when you come to paint over it. Bare plaster and patches and new plaster should be mist coated with a...
