    No Window Bathroom Ventilation

Yes full planning consent, building regs state just an extractor but I don't think a normal extractor in duct would be enough. I've seen these so will discuss with builder, neighbour has been an nightmare so don't really want to be speaking with them asking for access over their extension that...

When does a conservatory become an extension? (and do I need building regs)

May be worth you asking planning first? we get charged around £25 for pre planning queries / advice, we were recently told by planners conservatories are classed as extensions be it brick or glass. But if you are replacing the existing building and planning on building higher walls they will...

evening, so I get at the kitchen sink approx 6l per minute... 6 seconds on full gave me 600ml of water. ideally this should be 10l per min? so there is obviously some bottle neck somewhere, I will get the plumber to test from the stop cock flow there then work out what to do next from that...

It’s not lead, and house was built 1971… flow rate in the area is notorious for being rubbish, some days it’s worse than others but speak with UU and they say it’s fine and with in their tolerance… all the new builds around us are fine guessing they have new mains…

The boiler is already in? It’s 6 years old. and as the boiler is relatively young not worth utilising it? the pressure issue is the cold feed in it’s rubbish… so any experience with mains pressure boosters? Like...

    Loft insulation

I saw the air gap on the top so was unsure if I could lay on top of the rockwool already there. And looking at the data on the hybrid stuff it would still need an air gap so wouldn't be able to lay over the top?

    Loft insulation

The per sqm price was including new boards, additional 4 x 2 timbers and the 100mm insulation all from Wickes. Loft legs are too high I can only go up 100mm and at that I will be ducking in the loft :(

    Loft insulation

Hi, i'm in a bit of a quandary... I need to lift the boards and insulate my loft to a better standard, I have these options but unsure which is best The joist are 100mm so not much room for thick rockwool. I can either cross lay more 100mm joist with an extra layer of 100mm rockwool then...
