    Cold water tank connection!

It says that the new connection needs to be lower than the existing feed by 60mm so that if the mains supply should fail, and the cold water tank level drops, the hot water supply ceases first. If the cold water ceased first, the user of the shower could be scalded.

The instructions says that it needs to be wired to a 3 amp fused switch, my question is there is already a fused 3 amp switch in the aring cuboard that is for the central heating control box (or what ever it is called), can I...

I am trying to install a surrey flange on my hot water tank for my new shower. I thought I had done everything to drain the water from it: I have held up the ball cock on the cold water tank in the attic so no more water can come in from rising main. Turned on all the hot water taps in the...

    Downlights for a Bathroom

My bathroom is 1.65m x 2.52m and I want to install some low voltage halogen downlights instead of the horrible strip lighting we have at the moment. How do I work out the level of lighting needed for a room that big? The pack I am looking at buying is a set of 5 25w downlights, will this be...

    Pipework for a new shower.

:D ye! my question was if they are saying 22mm pipework instead of a bigger diameter pipe will reduce the pressure loss, would putting 15mm pipework in instead for the whole run reduce the pressure loss even more(increasing the performance of the shower a little bit more). :D
