Just adding to big-al's advice, When possible I remove the nails, draw a line joining the nail holes and cut along that line with the circular saw (because the nails SHOULD be in the centre of the joists, so when you come to fit them back down you wont have to add too many new supporting battons)

100% CUT THE FRAME. I find using a hack saw with a 45 degree fitting is the easiest way, saves your nuckles :wink:

Would't the old brown paper bag and iron trick work? it works on carpets.

Take the skirting off to get to the edge of the laminate, lift the edge of the laminate gently and you should start to see it coming apart at 20-30 degrees, then pull it away from the joining board, you'll probably find the whole row of laminate along the skirting edge will come away, let it do...

I think you'll really struggle at £600, bearing in mind you add vat (usually) and there are auction fee's. But British car auctions Measham hold a commercial vehicle auction once a month, usually hundreds go through, good luck :?
