Visonic Powermax room sensors not working

Thanks for your reply. I will test again today, however I did walk tests yesterday, hours apart, and also on another occasion entered the house when the alarm was armed and the sensors didn't pick me up. The lounge one, after I took the fascia off, worked on one walk test how I remember them...

Visonic Powermax room sensors not working

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help. The room sensors on my alarm appear to not be working. I replaced the battery on the outdoor siren today and decided to do a walk test (haven't done one in ages). The sensors registered, with the beep on the alarm but very intermittently. E.g I had to move...

    mould in attic

No tanks up there. Roofer booked. Will the mould just disappear or will I need to get up there with a ladder and clean it off? Tricky as only part boarded and central area is quite high.

    mould in attic

There is an extractor fan for the cooker. The tumble drier is in the pantry with the door open. There is a double brick air vent that blows a force 10 through. So figured we'd be ok? Just looking for an extractor for the bathroom. They are pretty standard aren't they? Don't think the beam is...

    green moss on brick work

Ok. That's good to know. Do I need to get the roof re-done, or just treat the moss regularly? Is roof re-doing over-kill or sensible in the long run? Thanks for your advice mate

    green moss on brick work

The lower vent is the extractor fan from the cooker. The vent in question is the higher one. There is another air vent slightly higher and to the left just out of shot. The wall is pretty much east facing / maybe east, north, east Thanks for your help

    green moss on brick work

is it preventable? The way the wall faces means it gets no direct sun - is this something to do with it? Should I add that the air bricks are venting the roof space. They are not in the damp proof area?

    green moss on brick work

Noticed this morning after being in garden for first time in a while (due to winter) that our new extension (2 years in April) has got a bit of white efflorescene on some of the bricks, which is fine I understand. Have also noticed that just above an air brick/vent there is green moss...

I assume so? Looks like mould? What else could it be?

    mould in attic

Got a sparky coming next week to fit a bathroom extractor. Try and open bathroom window when showering but gets closed soon after to avoid tempting burglars! Others don't get opened. Would the things you said make an impact in loft then? Have a condenser tumble drier. Not much washing if any on...

    mould in attic

Just popped into attic today and found mould on the woodwork (!) There is no obvious water ingress, there are a couple of slipped slates, but no signs of water coming in. Getting theses sorted We had the loft insulated a couple of years ago - the eaves have been left free for...
