I am in the process off refitting my bathroom so pipes and height not a problem but i was worried about the pan stopping any movement of the laminate thats why i asked the question. when you say over drilling the laminate do you mean making a larger hole in the laminate say an inch ?? but...

I am going to put down laminate in the bathroom but i want to know should i lay it and then mount the toilet pan on top and screw through or cut around the toilet pan.... the pan is not fitted yet. i am using the green felt slabs as underlay. :?

I have fitted a stone resin tray for the base of my shower, i am just about to start tiling, a friend recommends that i use the bath & shower super seal strips from b&q as a seal between tiles and shower base, another friend said just tile down to the tray leave a couple of mm gap and squirt in...

Scrape the lot off and dry line using dot & dab will leave you with a nice surface to tile to....if you replaster you will have to wait 3-4 weeks to dry out before putting on tiles...use moisture resistant plasterboard.

looking at where it enters the stack there appears to be a large knurled nut which i dont want to open yet!! only for bad luck i'd have no luck...LOL

40mm it is then but will it be ok to reduce to 32mm just before it goes into the soil pipe or would i need to get a some kind of 40mm connector for the soil pipe...space is very tight!!

the pipe goes around and under units in the bathroom, it is a wooden floor, can a trap be put 'inline' away from the shower, the waste is only for the shower.

Have just ripped my bath out to fit a shower cubicle, i would like to connect up to the existing waste which is 1" 1/4" (one and a quarter inch) Bartol, will this be sufficient to drain the tray?? ...to size up to 40mm is difficult because the pipes run to an internal stack... but if needs...

phone your water board and ask if there is water mains work going on around your area, also they may have fitted a pressure control valve into the area main, they did this to me a couple of years ago i got nowhere complaining and had to replace my instantaneous shower as not enough pressure...
