    No Power To Rangemaster

ok if this ever ends up being archived on google...i bypassed the timer on my Rangemaster 90 DF Dual Fuel by accessing the timer wiring by removing the control knobs, then unscrewing the stainless panel at the front. Pop out the blue wire from timer and you're away.

    No Power To Rangemaster

Thinking it could actually be timer related now? Noticed yesterday when I was using the oven there was a lot of steam escaping and steaming up the display. Whenever we get a power cut the ovens won't come on until the display is reset. But now there's no power to the timer at all. If I need to...

    Cruise Control Kits

Hilarious comments aside, I do 35k miles a year, making my exposure to this higher than tradesmen that just do local services. Co-incidentally I genuinely don't think it's unsafe to travel at 80/90mph on an empty dual carriageway/motorway in a modern, well serviced vehicle. I find it...

    Cruise Control Kits

AFIAK its 70 on motorways, i always thought it was a grey area whether or not it was 60 or 70 on a dual carriageways for me, as I always see Dispatch people carriers / taxi cabs. Suppose I'll find out if the ticket comes  Bracing for 6 or 9 points then...

    Cruise Control Kits

Just got done by a camera van coming home to Plymouth on the A303 from London.... I saw it at about 600 yds, think I was doing 80 odd at the time :x So, assuming I get a ticket, I want to fit a cruise control kit to the van so I can just set it at 70 then go to sleep (thats how they work...

    Upgrading Van Speakers

Afternoon all, I practically live in my van (Dispatch mk2), and as such I was to treat myself to some upgraded speakers (the ones in the doors - 6" I believe). I still have the original stereo. Am I right in assuming that any new speakers I put in will only be as powerful as the stereo...

    pay rates

I'm a "multi-trade plumber" (read "plumber that gets sent to do any job under the sun"). I travel all over the SE and London and subby. I average about £240 a day, but my expenses bring this figure all the way down to somewhere around £200 pretax. Some times it's mega quiet and I'll be...
