Yeah garage is fine and the Unica is not a bad little boiler for the money. It has a very clever design of heat exchanger unique ( I believe) to this boiler. Ive fitted a few Unicas and not had any bother thus far.

Sounds to me like the ol' notoroius Vokera thermistor problem. the DHW thermistor will be faulty. Ive seen a few do exactly what your describing and found the resisitance of the DHW thermistor to be way wrong. Replacing sorts it.

The divertor valve is passing..........rare fault on the new type divertor valves which your model will have.

Anyone know how long the warranty is on an Evo installed on 11th November 2006?? Ideal are saying 12 months and a customer is saying 2 years. Ideal say the warranty changed in April 2006 to 1 year. Anyone can clarify it would be much appreciated!

Personally i just undo the the unions and change the pump!!! Much easier than sawing!

All the Vokera combi range havbe pretty much the same pipework layout. The Unica HE is a reasonabley priced decent piece of kit to replace it with.

I though Sime went bankrupt about 2 years ago and no longer exist?
