I've brought a kitchen sink with two bowls and it doesn't have any openings for an overflow. Is this normal and do I need to add some sort of overfowl to the sink and if so how? Many thanks... Andy :lol:

Hi Scatmanjohn, Many thanks for the advice but can I ask the pic you provided on your reply (not the web link) but the scetch where are I get a connector ;like that one cos that would be ideal. I've looked on PlumbWorld & Screwfix & B&Q and can't seem to find it anywhere. HELP!!!!!!! :lol:

I was wondering if any one would be able to help me :cry: I'm currently fitting in a Kitchen sink which has two bowls (the main washing area & a small 2nd bowl area) which obviously has another waste pipe. The current connection under the sink has a waste connection for the washing...

Thanks Chris, Sorry but guess I didn't make myself clear once again..... The basin has a pedastal.... that will take the weight right? Also the cisten is fitted to the toilet so all I need is something to hold it agaisnt the wall... Cheers for all the help guys.... :D

Well it look similar to that, although mine bends off to the left when looking straight on. Are they all a universal size because the one on my toilet (the part that goes into the waste pipe connected to the stake) looks bigger?

Cheers KevPlumb, Sorry I didn't make it clear. I haven't removed it but I'm in the process of changing the toilet and wanted to know if I needed to change the "waste pipe" with a new one or can I use the old one already there. Cheers :)

I'm thinking about fitting new taps onto the kitchen sink. What I wanted to know is: Can I fit taps with 20mm connection on to the excisting plumbling. If not what must I do to accommadate the connections. :shock:

I'm fitting a toilet and wanted to know: 1/ Can I use the old soil pipe or do I need a new one as the seals maybe damaged? 2/ Do I need to add any type of sealant/ glue when reconnecting the soil pipe? 3/ I read another post which said to use "washing up liquid" to put the soil pipe...
