I am about to start a self build on a raft foundation, the sunroom has less steel in it than the rest of the house. So it does matter on the raft spec, best check with engineer.

Not very keen on seeing a very thick pvc base on the shower, the base is going to be much bigger than the tray so you step on the base (tiled) then into the shower.
