Hi
Just planning / costing our new build and we are going to have UFH on all floors (on spreader plates between joist on 1st floor). I have been told different things from electricians. As the heating pipes are in the floor joists this area will get warm, will any electrical cables (mainly lighting) need to be thicker than standard. Some have told me yes and others no, others said as long as its under the insulation away from pipes, others have said cables should be above insulation but then they will be next to heating pipes.
confused!
Thanks
