    Have been told i need safety glass in a replacement window for a bathroom, the height from floor to edge of glass is 116cm and from bottom of bath110 and from what i can find from goggle the minimum before needing safety is 800mm,is this the current regs or am i being fed bs.

    opps, Found out we have some paint boffins at work and asked them why emulsion cracks unless sealed and they said it's the solvents in the emulsion leaching out or being drawn into the caulk,he said a ****y coat of pva on the caulk would stop it.

    Not without taking floorboards up,do you think i should just swing the box round and reterminate wiring and put a new piece of 2.5 in to the lower socket and fix a blanking plate that way allowing acces to the join.

    Agree with all the above comments,we had mould in the shower across a lintel and a good extractor fan and dilute copper sulphate painted on the sanded emulsion seems to have done the job although you will need a few coats of emulsion to cover the blue up,i had a couple of fungal nails on my feet...
