    Integrated power shower problem

No - Top fittings are the supply and I am getting hot and cold from the top. It was just that I swapped the filters from the unused bottom ones to the top and vv. Shall I put everthing back together now and see what happens?

    Integrated power shower problem

    Integrated power shower problem

OK - Now I feel really thick. I had removed the filters for the bottom inlet but mine are straight in from the back. Tested these seperately and both flow. I cannot however manage to remove the filters to check if they need cleaning. I tried tweezers without success - what should I use and what...

    Integrated power shower problem

Just checked and the cold water tank is full to the correct level. The power shower was installed professionally 18 months ago and has worked perfectly until now.

    Integrated power shower problem

Apologies for sounding thick but I am a complete novice at this and hence my lack of understanding of the terminology. I much appreciate your help though and will have another go at this tomorrow and get back. I hadn't realised that the water could run through the unit without the pump going...

    Integrated power shower problem

Sorry but i'm getting really confused. Remember this is an integrated power shower with the pump inside the unit on the wall. I removed the two small metal coils from the hot and cold inlets and they were perfectly clean but no water despite pump running. I think it is an airlock somewhere in...

Have tried but it is not working at all now. The pump runs but no water whatever I try. Other hot and cold taps are fine.

    Integrated power shower problem

Yes the tank is modern and has a lid and is fully insulated. I have had a look at it and there does not seem to be any problem with the float valve. It was replaced at the time the shower was installed. The cold feed has no sharp elbow bends in it and is flexible plastic tube.

    Integrated power shower problem

Unless something has gone wrong with either the water level in my cold or hot water cylinders I don't think it is that. I will however check the cold water tank is case something happened during the freezing cold weather recently. As I say the shower has been performing perfectly for 18 months...

    Integrated power shower problem

Just tried again with the water temp in the tank at just tepid. Turned power shower on for literally just a minute then off. Turned it on again and no water - just the integral pump going. Could there be a blockage somewhere in the unit itself. I have descalled the shower head but again it's...

    Integrated power shower problem

Thank you for this. The hot water tank is only heated by an emersion and I had already tried reducing the thermostat on the immersion down to 45 but it is still happening. It's very strange because as I say everything has worked perfectly since it was installed about 18 months ago and suddenly I...

    Integrated power shower problem

I have a power shower which was professionally installed about 18 months ago and has been brilliant. It is the type where the pump is actually inside the shower unit on the wall. It now will randomly stop pumping water although the pump itself is still running normally. If I then leave it for...
