thanks i know its the electricity suppliers job and have got them on board, been given a quote etc. for relocation of cable and meters. i am just worried that the plumbing should be nowhere near where the mains incomer comes into the house and also that pipe work is being put into a cupboard...

i recently got a quote for moving my mains incomer cable and meters, the quote was approx. £350 but i have to dig to the depth of the cable and channel out a new track to lay where i want the cable to go you can get them to dig it out but will cost more hope this helps

i have a friend who is installing a new light fitting into an alcove but its is a metal casing so has obviously has 3 wires from the fitting but the existing wiring within the alcove only has 2 wires. does this require an earth to be run from elsewhere?

what you require is a PIR with a good IP rating i have a good website that i have linked on my favs on other computer so will send it to you later tonight think its about £50 for it though

the boiler should be on its on circuit due to the load you would be better trying to feed from the lighting circuit in the bathroom
