    thanks, i probably will just get onto the housing after the sparks been monday. i will ask him for his professional oppinion and seeing as he is working on the electrics for the boiler i guess its his duty to ensure the electrics are ok for what he's commisioning.

    will this be mandatory when they replace the CU? or should i not even wait that long and get onto the Housing assoc asap? also do they have to provide me with any certificates/paperwork as the tenant or only the landlard i.e. the housing assoc?

    no sorry in picture 5 & 7 the main incoming fuse from the supplier was changed and is that not where the earth is usually bonded to? should they not have connected it even though it wasnt already? (also it is the feed for next door - dont know if that matters with earthing) the comsumer unit...

    we had some leaking issues into the consumer unit a while ago and the housing assoc sent a sparky out who didnt seem to care about the earth as its down to the electric supplier. and when we had them out to change the electric meter he said that its not mandatory and so didnt want to touch it...

    sorry, i am in beeston on dewsbury road. i have a sparky coming out hopefully monday to permanantly wire the boiler to the mains so might point it all out to him but i reckon he'll dismiss it too. (except the the water mains earth as that should be part of his boiler electric commision shouldnt it?
