Concrete post tilted. Gap in fence

I agree with @accelerator - the post is now in the wrong place, and needs to be put in the right place. You know it needs re-set.

What type of base for timber shed?

I’d go for the ‘ Alaska Building Off Grid’ standard approach - make 12” dia cardboard tubes, bury a couple of feet into the ground, then fill with concrete. That lets you get all the levels done at the same time as well!

    Not enough silicone?

Get a brand new Stanley blade and carefully take every bit of that ( and the old) silicone off. Pop into screw fix and get a 646fn, and a 656ru. Make sure you cut enough off the end of the nozzle ( at 45 degrees) before you re-apply.

    What to do?

That’s what I would do, because, Using this will be very messy. Unless you’re confident that your ( hopefully waterproof proper Bathroom paint and not just standard Emulsion) will take a good sponging and wiping to remove the grout excess!

    Best adverts....

For those old enough to remember the’ Tartan Special’ adverts, where the ah-hem “ exotic dancer” comes on in the pub, and all the punters rush over to watch ……. Mr Cool stays at the bar, supping his pint, watching the overhead mirrors pointing down ……. Pure classic

    What to do?

I usually use grout because it’s in my hand at the time, and it either matches the tile or the trim. In this instance, the very last thing you want to do is try and get some black grout down there. Unfortunately, given your colours and nice clean walls, you’re probably going to have to paint...

    What to do?

Never put any silicone onto the outside edge of Splashback trim - it can’t be painted. ( you might not want to now, but you will in a few years ). Always use grout to backfill a trim on a wall that’s not flat. I’m always wary of doing this with Black trim though, as black grout ‘isn’t ‘ ...

    General block paving questions

I’m with you, I totally see the reasons for using the 150mm Hardcore and I would be wanting the same….. Just for interest - last summer 2 people in our street got block driveways pit in. They both got the full Hardcore etc done, but one was tamped with a Waker plate, the other a sit-on roller...

    Sub floor for bathroom

No, you can't tile chipboard. It's not good practice to tile ply either, though it can be done.

    General block paving questions

're dropped kerb : It bugs me that our local council charge £200 to assess the application, and then £50 for a permit if it passes. And the contractor that does it has to be on their approved list.
