    Layout ideas for 2.5m x 1.7m bathroom

Hi Re-doing bathoom. It used to just have a shower-over-bath arrangement. We mostly use the shower, so would like to separate it out, either with or without enclosure. Here's some rough ideas (i.e. dimensions/style of sink/toilet/shower screen not accurate), but wondered if anyone...

Alternatives to these (costly) old-style rads

Thanks for tip; apparently they come from Italy, so not sure how much control I have over that. I can but ask!

Alternatives to these (costly) old-style rads

Thanks for input - have contacted a few more merchants, and they were able to give a discount on list price. Ended up biting the bullet and ordering the Anconas. Ended up being £940 for the big ones, so not astronomically more than the Stelrad classics. I just prefer the 'mottled copper'...

Reducing chimney breast - is it possible?

Just wondering if anyone could take a look at this one. Please? Pretty please? :D :D :D

How do I add a joist?

This is the problem - I can't get it on to the wall plate from below. I've cut it to the right length, but that means the wall plate is in the way, unless I drop it down from above, which I can't, because the tank is already in place.

How to get old galvanized steel tank out of the loft?

Will these do? Seriously, don't think I'd have a need for an angle grinder again

Alternatives to these (costly) old-style rads

Thanks - I realise this, hence I mentioned it :D But in many cases for things like this, there are often cheaper 'copies', or similar items that are much cheaper. I'm going for standard rads for all but three.

Alternatives to these (costly) old-style rads

http://www.theradiatorcompany.co.uk/radiators/steel_multi_column/ancona_with_cast_feet.html Really like these, but just for one rad, 2.15m, 3-column, 600heigh, costs £1200. Wondering if anyone can recommend a similar product that's cheaper, or a merchant that can do a good deal on...

How to get old galvanized steel tank out of the loft?

Thanks :D Nice and simple, just want I like. Assume the first one is an angle-grinder. Never used one, and not likely to need one again. Do you think it would be better to rent a good one, or buy a cheap one?

How do I add a joist?

I don't think so, not if I want them to be level with the rest of the joists. If I did, I'd have to cut into the wall plate, which isn't really an option. Plus I can't come in from above, as the cylinder is already in place.

How do I add a joist?

I'm putting in a megaflo tank, which will be 300kg when full. Structural engineer advised putting in a few extra joists. I cut one to length, and even diagonally between two existing joists it won't go in. The only option I think is to make a single joist out of two shorter joists that...

How to get old galvanized steel tank out of the loft?

It does fit through the loft hatch, but is quite heavy. Not sure how one would cut it into pieces?
