    Radiator not heating up

Not sure this is good but I found a great way of bleeding major air from system. 1) Turn off system and wait for pump overrun to cease. 2) Close both valves on rad 3) Open bleed valve and hold suitable receptacle under valve to collect water untill it stops flowing. 4) Once water stops open...

'Popping' sound from Boiler when burning

Chris - I believe our system is closed. So how will the AV work? Does the knurled plasic screw on top have to be loose? Does the hex nut on the side have to be adjusted. They are both screwed down hard? Tks as usual.

    Q for Ollski

Probably a 'piece of string' or silly question, but how long would a system last if it was constantly 'breathing' in use?

    Q for Ollski

Thanks Slippy I have also checked out www.Hepworth.co.uk which was quite useful. If it is not barrier and has to be changed can I leave until the winter is over before doing so i.e. would the air over the next say four months cause immediate corrosive damage to the system. Come to think of...

I am little confused by the above. Don't get me wrong - not a pro spark, but need to do some work which is a bit of a jigsaw and will probably have to do it myself. On looking ont he forum have found it useful and did what Pedantic suggested and bought IEE Elecs Guide. Interesting book...
