thanks for that, yeah i will try and pound the soil around the posts, i will try breaking up the concrete on the broken ones with a hammer but dont think will dent it lol also not really enough room to move the post so needs to come out lol and next time i will use concrete lol thanks Dean

hi all i recently put a a fence inbeetween me and neighbour then i looked at the rear fence witch is very unstable and found 3 posts to have totally rotten throught at ground level, there is a outrages amout of concrete in the hole and i have managed to dig around with shovel but can barley move...

ok thanks, do i need to use expanding bolts ? if so u have any links for screwfix etc as have never heard of these, obviously i will need plugs in the wall etc, u think about 6 bolts will hold it on ok ? is this them ...

i have read loads of things saying dont connect dirsctly to the wall but with pannel fencing u dont get many options as cannot extend past the post ? if i do put onto walli think i will cut the top on a slope and set the bolts back into the wod but any help or pics would be great what is ur...

ok i will go looking for a decent digging spade, so u would suggest screwing the first post directly onto the wall but dont cement into ground just put in 6 screws to secure, sounds good to me and will look neat, but shouldnt put deep in ground maybe just on ground level, also anyone know any...

its only a small area to do so even though more expensive wont need much, do u just pour post crete into hole and makes a lot easier ? will keep u posted , going to remove rest of decking this weekend so let u know cheers Dean

wow thats really cheap were did u purchase them from ? also did u buy the fence that slides inbeetween in panneles or what ?( set size pannels) i think this will be easier and cheaper to do so think i will go for this option is there any guides etc on how to erect a concreate post fence ...
