U will need to disconnect the 12v supply for the bell box from the control panel, and also disconnect the bells internal battery. And link out the tamper return if u will be needing to use the alarm in the meantime

Yes that sounds good. Did u take the device to the panel location and check the signal ? You will also need to recalibrate the shock sensor if you can get it learned back on. Arrow on inertia barrel should be pointing upwards and 1 click negative before u do this.
It looks like it could be a shock/magnetic contact combined sensor, on whoch case the red would indicate the shock sensor. This doesn't help with the tamper fault though. Can u post a picture of the pcb?
The red light signifys that the reed switch is open. If u put it next to the magnet it should go green. Can the fault on the keypad be reset when both tamper switches pressed?
