If you can boot into your system you can run some system checks with freeware software. If you have a bent pin in the RAM slot you could fix this but only if the board is completely discharged. Otherwise you will potentially short lots. If the RAM was badly seated try again.

In your PC you have a set of 4 LEDs that will go either red or green. Check the sequence and look into the MB manual for any indicator of POST failure. Are you using a new graphics card? Is that seated correctly? Is the GPU addressed properly by the BIOS, i.e. correct sequence?
