It's not a texecom bell box bud. Bell box was replaced about 3 years ago, basically the alarm has been in for about 20 years (not originally fitted by me) about 4/5 years ago the panel blew and had to be replaced that's when I fitted the texecom a while after that I replaced the old bell box...

Get a ring video door bell bud. Activates on motion and for £25 a year you have cloud recording. We've just got one on our house and it's fantastic. You can even talk to whomever is at your door via your phone for extra piece of mind

I set mine up without a laptop and despite having fitted a fair few alarms in the past (so wouldn't say I was a novice) I really struggled. To be fair without this forum and specifically sparkymarka I would of still been struggling now. If you can connect a laptop my advice is to do it!

I fitted a flood light so that when someone came down the drive and approached the house it turned into daylight.......no night vision issues then and it makes it easier when searching footage

It's running version 3.0 and it's an elite 24. It's currently got one expander so it should be ok adding a wireless one as it can go up to 24 zones can't it?

Make sure you check if your outside bell box is live bud

I would also be aware that most adt residential alarms are fitted without a live bell box outside. The box on your outside wall with adt on it is probably a dud
