    Appreciate you’re helping me remotely etc. If I apply final push b4 filling, should I just apply pressure in the area of the three blemishes? Finally, what process/products do you recommend to fill? Thank you again

    So by pushing up to fix hole 1, I created hole 2 and 3? Makes me nervous about applying any further pressure to the board.

    Hi again Have scraped off flaking plaster, Can’t tell if it’s a nail or screw. Also difficult to know if board has dropped? Should I just repair from this position? Many thanks

    Hi All (Sorry for delay in responding-phone dead) It’s 40mm diameter. I was wrong. It’s not protruding out, just a surface level, round, circular crack in plaster. Would it be to scrape the flaking plaster away to see what’s underneath before attempting a repair? Thanks again

    Thanks again. Does that advice about not digging horse manure into soil also apply to the bog standard stuff (peat free bed and border manure) you get from B&&Q?
