It's a 1200w hoover, it would rip it off if I stuck that down Henry's trunk!

Henry is a great vacuum, but on full power it is way too much for some things.

Before I order a replacement PCB, was thinking if it was the triac (or something else on the PCB), wouldn't that mean the hoover would not power on at all, and be completely dead? It is hi/full power only at the moment.

Not a problem, just curious. I was also looking at replacing the coach lamp out front at some point too. There doesn't seem to be a lot of LED models in Screwfix, but I can just buy the LED bayonet bulb separately.
