Suggestion for a 500 mm deep built in oven?

I need to replace one in a rental flat. The one coming out is an Ariston approx 10 years old and although the aperture in the carcass is standard (600 x 570 mm) there is a (40 mm?) PVC water drain pipe and an electric terminal box against the back wall. This was fine, as the oven only occupied...

    CDA Dishwasher decor panel interchangeability?

The existing (CDA MX194) is about 8 years old. Potential replacement (CDA WC140) is one year old. I assume the machine size is standard, i.e. 60 cm cabinet, but what are the chances of being able to take the decor panel off the old one and have it (a) fit the newer one and (b) fit into the space...

Miele Oven H383-1BP-KAT. Ran Pyrolytic clean, now it blows the breaker.

Thanks flameport, with the upper outer element disconnected, the oven operates. There is some charring around one of the terminals too but apparently this could be cumulative over the years. Turns out both elements were goosed. Fitted a new one - all is well Regards - braniff

Miele Oven H383-1BP-KAT. Ran Pyrolytic clean, now it blows the breaker.

Ran the cleaning cycle last night and although the display is normal, the oven light works etc., whenever I turn on the oven or grill in any mode, it pops the RCD at the consumer unit. I've learnt that the high temperatures during the pyro cycle can...

    Bath sealant gap limit?

Thanks dilalio, I was thinking along those lines but have decided I'm going to have a plumber pull the sides off, check the support structure and do it as properly as is possible, bearing in mind its been bodged in the past. Many thanks - braniff

    Bath sealant gap limit?

For some reason the gap between the long bath edge and the tiles above is nearly a centimetre. It had split because presumably the bath wasn't filled before originally applying. The seal at the head of the bath behind the taps is still intact but then that wouldn't flex as much. I was...
