Yes I am. Does that affect any building codes or similar? Yes that's the idea. Just something to make the ceiling look less grungy. I did think about cladding the trusses although it'd be very tedious and I'm guessing hardwood would be too expensive. Paint would probably do, or if worst comes...

That might do nicely - if it can slide in between the monoblock and the concrete strip then it would stop the turf encroaching and shouldn't affect drainage. I might order a small length and give it a try - thank you!

I have a large monoblock driveway and patio area whose edges total about 100 metres against grass. The grass tends to overgrow on to the monoblock which looks ugly and then requires regular trimming with an edge tool which takes ages. The monoblock is not separated from the grass at all...
