ive bean reducing my lighting load with led and energy saver lamps . have managed to get load done to 1.3 A with every light on indoors & outdoors . these lights are fed from three 6A mcb's should i derate them for the reduced load ???? :lol: :lol:

had scottish power at my house today giving me a quote for upgrading supply to a heavier cable . transformer is less than 100m from my house and they wanted £ 2000 approx if i did the trench and £5000 approx if they do whole job .

100% sure cable goes up pole and one core goes to top wire and other core to the bottom cable forgot to mention next door empty at the moment

have just had electric boiler installed at £2000 , second heating system in 9 months had stove with boiler but could not get enough output and my garden id detached from house so noplace for oil/gas tank and radiators were already in place . so im not planing to change again

i have a trianco 12kw heating system. i live on a farm my house is about 100m from pole transformer comes to mine and my neighbours house and a cable comes to each house . if i pay for a new cable from transformer to my house how does my neighbour get power ?? house empty at moment
