    Removing a bathroom

Morning all. Next week I have been tasked with removing a bathroom. I have no problem removing the individual items ie Shower cubicle, toilet and sink. Question is, perhaps somepoint in the far future, this might want to be reinstated as a bathroom.Whats the best way to cap of the...

Police shot man dead 'after he fired at officer'

I agree too. Cant stand coverups, so indicative of the last 12 years of Labour crap. BUt the case you posted about, at this moment, seems pretty clear cut to me. So I agree 100% with the police's actions. Re the other case, truly sad and horrible. Why they decided to shoot him, i'm not...

Police shot man dead 'after he fired at officer'

I dont think people are saying police never get it wrong, but in this case alone, based on the facts thus far, he deserved it. If i shot/pointed a gun at armed police, I would expect to see my coffin in the next couple of days. I am not aware of what happened in the previous case, perhaps a...

Police shot man dead 'after he fired at officer'

Well, i've based my opinion on the article you posted a link to. Based on that, Police 1, old guy 0. Both had guns so it was a fair fight. Should it turn out police shot first, while old guy at no point showed any hostilty towards officer ie pointing a gun at them, then I will revise my...

Police shot man dead 'after he fired at officer'

If you want to debate the rights and wrongs of other cases fine, state which ones and why, but this case is very clear.

Police shot man dead 'after he fired at officer'

At this moment, one can only go by the facts. Fact, he shot first, with little due regard to the life of the officer. Fact, Officer shot back, to stop suspect from injuring/killing anyone else. He died from gunshot wound, which was to be expected if you shoot at an armed police...

Police shot man dead 'after he fired at officer'

True, but you can do that for any sort of organisation. In THIS case, it was very clear cut. He shot, they shot. They won!

Police shot man dead 'after he fired at officer'

I cant see what there is to argue here. Some guy shot at police and hit him, would have died if it wasnt for the body armour. Police shot back and killed him. As the meercat would say, Simples!

    Pond Question

At the moment, there is a a OASE pump at the bottom, purely to keep the water moving, no filter, nothing. From this the powerlead runs about 30meters, into the celler and then into a RCD?(thing that trips with a test button) What I really want to do is either use the existing powerlead to...

    Pond Question

At the moment, I have a pond pump. I also want a fountain, and they all seem to come with their own 10m cable. Question. Whats te best way to tie this in with the current electrical source. Should I split the cable above water with some sort of junction box arrangement, or wire the...

Anyone here work for British Gas?

thanks all. It seems that for apprentiships, experience and hands on opportunities, BG seems pretty good. As for their sales pushing and working hours.... well thats a sacrifice I will need to make. If it all goes pete tong, then I will at least walk away with good qualifications, and a...
