    If you cant sort out the network side then I wouldn’t bother , you can pick up a 5mp waterproof camera for around £20 and probably a cheap dvr for around £100..

    Ok ….run both sliders up and down , then reset to correct setting and re try , hold two devices side by side ….. see if any thing is different it’s been know for Texecom to miss something off ….lol

    This is what I would do ….download an app like Fing or network scanner ….check what’s on your network , it should give a list of all,devices ….make note ….now connect camera , hold in reset and power up ( this will probably default ip settings and it should pick up new ip address…give it 5 mins...

    Read the spec sheet I posted …it does support a memory card …you would have to connect that camera to the your network to access the card and set it up …that bnc video output is only probably to assist setting up the camera

    This may a long shot ….as you are using SIA format …does it transmit text description to the ARC ? if so are there any non SIA text in any of the descriptors , I’ve had with panels if you put say a / in , it locks up the communications ( dual com ) …

    Put into engineering Remove lid Put com lead on com2 Open wintex …choose saved ( original profile ) , select connect by pc com ….does it connect ? It should say at the bottom screen , if not what warnings does it com with ? Check that the UDL is 1234 ( default in wintex ) at the panel in UDL...

    Ok ….if it’s defaulted you need to put in the UDL code or it won’t let you download the wintex profile ….what does it say on wintex when you try to connect to panel….also what com port are you plugging onto ? Com1 or Com 2

    I can’t see how you have caused this by making one zone not used ? ….what else did you do ? …anyway just reload your profile from wintex it should be ok
