its the socket outside by bathroom, i need to switch it on to use the shower.... its a rectangle switch/socket with an on/off switch...

i got the message, will bin it for sure and wait till tomorrow now, really wanted a shower this evening, seems like its a long soak in the bath (again!)

i still got the spring and the little pointy ball which goes on one end, not sure which en though! does it go on the switch end or the backing of the box? towards me or other way? :?:

i took apart a socket, i can't seem to get the spring back on, the spring which goes on/off... am i missing something?

i did get an electrician to install it, he said nothing about it, now its tripping, im calling him but phone switched off since yesterday! I can see the wires behind the wall, its full of water pipes and bricks, no flammable materials... If i changed the mcb downstairs to 45a, would it be...

im not sure about the cabling, it goes from the shower into a brickwall and then outside the bathroom to the wall, where the switch is... is it paramount the cabling needs upgrading?

i found it like that when i moved in Nov 2006, shower has worked well until recently on the mcb/rcd (not sure which is it) in the fuse box downstairs, it says 'wylex b32' and '32a'

My old shower( Triton Opal 9.5kw) has packed in, I have replaced it with a new (Triton Martinique 10.5kw), it works fine for a while and then stops, the switch in the fuse box turns off too, i noticed its got a 32a in the fusebox, is this correct? :?

they don't move around or have any freeplay, i think its the rubber seal that goes around the frame... can i replace this? from where? is it easy to do?

I live in a maisonette, i have double glazing with these pvc looking panels underneath, there is a horrible draught coming in through all the panels, what can i do to stop this? it has a black rubber seal running along the panels and around, i have no idea what to do or use? :oops:

The damage is on the back panels which join up to the side panels.. its got 4 back panels in total.... thanks
