Can you see a spark nr the pilot light? It sounds like yer gas valve if there is, is there gas on :?:

Have you got any dripping hot water taps? If so turn off the mains cold stop tap presuming the pressure in the boiler is ok try the heating if it works fine then you need to get yer hot water taps fixed

That 1 tick will just be the diaphragm inside the APS moving.

Which ones do you use and find the best, ie descaling a boiler and removing blockages.

Does the fan run then stop, run then stop? If so and its fully pumped remove the pump live at the boiler and see if it fires up? I so i'd be changing the pump.

Im sick of the site of these ive got 3 on the go can anybody help; House 1 2 Bedroom with 5 rads 3 upstairs work, 2 downstairs wont get hot. Ive tried turning upstairs off and no luck, ive flushed the downstairs rads with mains pressure and put mains pressure through the downstairs rads...

Its plastic i cant get it hot, its a 1st fix :wink: you reckon that air pressure test will be ok,, all pipework above ground just need a little test to check it.

PPS how long u normally leave it on test, am thinking of linking the hot cold and heating pipes up to test all in one.

so is it better to hire a water testing kit then as its about the same price as buying me own air pressure test kit.. cheers :wink:

anyone used a one of these to test a 1st fix installation am i right in thinking its just a case of using a foot pump to put pressure in and leave on test? any help appreciated

have you put the plugs in the right place theres 2 that look the same but dont go in the same place :twisted:

had a lil bugger this week saying F12 phoned gloworm its the interface board (the digital display board on the front) so alas got the part went back to fit it turned the boiler on to check it (b4 new part fitted and it fire up). Baring in mind this part cost a chunk of lowwer i was not amused so...
