    Don't mention a leaking waste!! a 20 min connect waste job took 3 visits to the local sheds and 4 hours later leak free... woohoo!!! :roll: There are 2 large holes on the rear of the basin but much to big for a screw to fit into... What would you suggest i use??

    Hi all, I have just purchased a small 2 door vanity unit and basin for the bathroom. Having plumbed the thing in i am now wondering what to do with the basin?? Let me explain, the basin sits on top of the unit and the unit is secured to the wall... But the sink isn't secured to the unit...

    hole in bath

    Hi guys, Does anybody think this is repairable??? If not, do I claim on the insurance or is it a large bill for me?? It happened when the sink was leaning against the bath and it fell of its pedestal into the bath.....doh :oops:

    Can't get the rad off!!

    Thanks peeps, I have indeed taken them back and swapped for 10mm rad valves, no trvs for now until im confident what im doing.... I have refilled the system back up to 1.5bar, bled all the rads apart from bathroom as there is no rad just valves... I have just turned on the worcester bosch...

    Hi all, Right i couldnt get that nut to budge on the trv side :oops: , so had to resort to draining the system..... I have now managed to get rad off so now i thought i might as well replace the trv and the lockshield valves...... Have i now got to cut these pipes? They are 10mm pipes...

    Hello all, I am trying to get this rad off the wall so that it can be plastered behind very soon.. I have closed off the lockshield (5 turns) and closed the TRV, but I cannot for the life of me get the nut to turn that connects the TRV to the rad... Any suggestions, or is it plumber...

    ermmmm!! ok thanks, but im wondering did you post that after 8 or 9 beers.... :lol: :lol: Right guys, I have confrimed that this door is 30mm less than 2100mm stated as I won't be using the cill so now I am 20mm is that ok now, will i be able to make up the difference??

    imo it looks great too, but the problem is the the bottom of the frames are completely rotten, also when the door meets the frame at the bottom there is a huge gap, and for some reason its becoming increasingly difficult to open and close the door!!!! :( :( So i thought i might as well...

    As you can see that my door has a built in concrete cill, so i presume if they are advertiseing the height at 2100mm and there is a cill included, i could disregard 30mm or so, so it should fit....!!! or is that wishful thinking?? Thanks
