If you can place rubber under the feet, and dependent on the weight of the pumps it may need to be quite a firm rubber, then it generally works fine :)

Quinn are fine, as are Stelrad too. Its mainly in the 'aftercare' that issues may arise, and thats for any radiator. As long as the system is looked after, serviced and the system cleaned through and treated yearly, there will be few problems :)

Thing is, if the 12 year warranty covers failure under normal usage, and all welding, etc. then that's all you need I reckon :)

They are Turkish made, in an automated factory, thats about all I can find. I've either used Barlo or Stelrad so can't help you on that front :)

Insulate the feet / base of the pumps from the surface they are mounted on would be my method :)

With a one-pipe system, balancing the radiators is more critical than a two pipe system, so you may need to either get someone in to do this, or have a fiddle yourself if you are confident enough. Also, one-pipe systems have a tendency to collect a fair bit more sludge in them, if they haven't...
