Supporting Decking overhang on concrete fence

No, At present the fence only serves as a boundry marking, getting in the way a bit sort of thing. since it's not Sqr, and the frame is, there is a void of between 3-6 inches approx along the side. but i want have the deck boards running up flush to it so it's tidyer. Since theres such a gap...

Supporting Decking overhang on concrete fence

The boards are about a foot high, and are about an inch dug in, so with the amount the deck is raised it works out about 4 or 5 inches in. The other option would be to fix the joist/baton directly to the posts (4ins square H posts) they're slightly further apart than the 1.5m recommended span...

Confussed ( ithink) with screw sizes.... please help!?!

I think I'm a bit confused with the different screw sizes out there.... Can i assume that a (metric) 6 X 65 will be 65mm long, and the HEAD diameter is 6mm (rather than the shank)? ALSO, with imperial the gauge is the head diameter, and the length is the length?

Does that mean that they will produce much more torque than the drill drivers?

    Impact driver or impact drill/driver?

Ive seen a lot of impact drivers around, and impact drill drivers.... What would you use an impact driver for, over using an impact drill/driver. Are they completely different or is one the other AND a drill?

I work for a large company which had their own building put up with a large moat out the front (with a nice bridge). Our grounds are covered with bunnies, and i have seen time and time again babies floating along. (well EX-bunnies actually). I've never seen one swimming, but i think because...

Great. It seemed reasonable to assume this, but i did'nt want to just get a longer bit, and knacker the drill! Cheers for the help!

    Drilling capacity

Fairly new to all this stuff and would like to ask a dumb question.... When a drill refers to drilling capacity of 13mm steel, 30mm concrete - can i assume it means the diameter of the hole and not the depth?
