Does anyone know where i can get a dust bag for a mitre saw?

Is the fitting likely to be universal, or does each manufacturer have therir own?

does it need to be for a saw or could i use a belt sander bag?

Why not attach the vacuum cleaner - it will work better in any case

yes i agree, but i think the misses may not! ;) !

besides, it mostly gets used out doors, so it's more about me not looking like the McDougles flour man after each cut, than making a bit of a mess

In that case I have to say that every power tool I possess which has dust bags has a different system, size of hose connection, etc. Standards? What standards?

More important is, you wear a face mask. You do not want to breathe in wood dust, some of it can be quite hazardous to your health.
