Hi
Just picked up a 707 2nd hand I have a couple of questions.
(first mitre saw)

1) To replace the blade, it's an allen key. Does this turn the normal way i.e. righty tighty? As very stiff and nearly bent my allen key trying in both directions.
2) Can any one advise on dust bag or dust kit.
I presume one is a bag, but is the kit for linking up to a hoover i.e. a henry?
Which do you advise as similar prices.
3) The guard is sticking, going to take apart to see if jammed or broken spring etc. Any advice.

Thanks

I'm sure the thread is conventional - they do tend to self tighten though and a 3/8 drive allen socket may be better. Often its possible to lock the blade by passing as screwdriver behind one of the teeth to jam the blade.
There is a dust extraction kit available (or you could rig up something to fit Henry).....the DW part number is DE7777.
Can't help with the guard, sorry!
John :)
