when we need any hot water in the house we need to turn the immersion heater on an hour before which sends the electric bills through the roof. why isnt the boiler down stairs heating the hot water cylinder upstairs ? this has always been the case since we moved in the house some 2 years ago

sink and bath terminate into a hooper (the same hooper) . toilet watse going into soil stack. there is water in the traps as i have shone a torch down to see the water in there.

theres a nasty smell coming from the sink and bath room plug holes and also in the kitchen sink. surely it cant be that the "water seals" have gone on the u bends ?

boiler turned on bioler selected to hot water. not sure about motorised valve central heating fine and working well just no hot water

even if i turn my boiler on ther is no hot water ? every time i need hot water (baths etc) i need to turn on the emmersion heater. any clues on what the problem is ??

lost tension in the spring sounds right. how do i go about fixing it ?

my "up & over" garage door, when pulled open doesnt seem to want to stop up. i assume this is something to do with the springs. is there anything i can do to fix my problem ??

solder or bend a 90 degree in your copper pipe. there should be a gap at the bottom of you wall where you can then thread the copper pipe up the wall and out whereu need to have your mixer valve.

i have TRVs on my radiatiors but i have lost the retaining caps you put on the TRV top's when you take the radiator off to decorate etc. my question is , is there a way of "making up" a retaining cap to fit over the TRV when i take the TRV top off, which will hold down and stop the water...

iam currently sitting my ACS. has anyone got the vipergas book and will be able to help me decipher the open flue positions on flat roofs ? if you have the viper book, iam stuck on the diagrams on page E-16.

i have recently beeb decorating my sitting room. i took my carpet up to save a mess from the plastering. when relaying my carpet it has a few "waves" in it where it had buckled/creased when it was stored in the garage. is there anyway of getting these crease marks out. ?
