    just for reference for anybody else, i ended up giving a 3rd coat with the roller but didnt roll over the edges that were cut in and to my relief it has worked a treat.

    thank for reply, its 6ft off the ground cistern, is the seal round the valve to the cistern base inside or out of the cistern, sorry I need this in idiot terminology

    Hi. i have a chain flush cistern, water keeps running in to the bowl even though the tank seems to have filled up, I have checked the flush goes back fully, is it a problem inside the cistern, thanks for any help
