    PLUG SOCKET FOR COOKER HOOD

I have just bought a Cooker hood to fit, B&Q said it can be used either vented or recirculated air. It has a 13 amp plug on. The instructions say that the socket outlet must be fitted inside the chimney section. Surely this is not a good idea, the output of recirculated air is also put...

Cooker Hood venting. . . .into loft?

Really Its a just lack of skill.... I can fit the hood no problem, but I don't want to destroy the housewall or remove roofing tiles trying to fit a vent to the outside. The thought of making a hole through a wall from inside to out I think is a little bit beyond me.

    Installing a new kitchen!!

B&Q Gets my vote too, on price and quality. I decided to plan and fit my own kitchen, and went for B&Q on nearly everything and it wasn't a mistake. My only advice to anyone considering fitting a kitchen is think how long you think it's going to take and TREBLE it!

Loop Wiring - Replacing a Celing rose

I am replacing an old celing rose which is fitted in a loop system with a new light fitting which has only the Live Neutral and earth connection and no loop connectors like the old celing rose. They suggest that you use a flex block connector for the loop wires, is it a 5amp block connector...
