Hello Hoping someone can help. My girlfriends bathroom paint that was applied before she moved in is covered in tiny cracks all over. It isn't the best job, what has caused the cracking? The paint looks like a Matt, might be wrong. The next thing is that some paint has peeled off...

Yes will try that. Are these stats meant to work correctly on 3 wires? Would i be better buying a stat suited to a two wire set up?

So i am more than likely to keep pins 1 and 3 connected as they are?

Thanks for the reply. Can you buy safe connectors for extending the cable? Thought about wiring it in myself but would be worried i would wire it in wrong. There are many wires on the room stat but less connections on the boiler for it which beat me!

I just wired it up like this, the grey dashed line = the linked piece as suggest but am i wiring it the incorrect way, god im useless....as the fuse went BANG again! It was wired up with a linked piece on the old switch i had, but forgot to check how it was done before removing it.[/img]

Really in need of some help, just hoping this picture works. I have an outside light, that requires a feed from an internal light, but cannot work out how to do it. I have a live, neutral and earth from the inside light to the switch, but only a RED and EARTH wire coming from the outside...
