Hi all. I’m wanting to put a sedum roof on a newly build workshop, it’s a flat roof 10m2 so not massive. has anyone done a sedum roof before, where did you buy it from? I’m getting prices of £700+ which I personally think is ludicrous!!

I’ve dot and dabbed the the rest of the garage as it’s internal walls so didn’t need to insulate. This expanding foam, can I use it for insulation to brick then foil backed plasterboard to insulation? I could always fire some masonry screws though the lot as well?

I’ve stopped being lazy. Ordered 2 tonne of ballast and load of cement. Mixer is on hire next week, I’ll left the slabs and pour a 4inch slab, higher than floor level to stop water running in.

I know it’s a bodge but might just seal it up and pour a few mm of self leveller on it them lay the 600x600 foam tiles that Halfords sell. Really can’t be bothered with having to rent a cement mixer and lifting all the slabs seams they’re solid.

It leaks all over through the slabs. It’s a raised patio area will have garden furniture on it.

I’m thinking of fibreglass with sharp sand mixed in to give it a key then slab or tile? Anyone done this before?

I have a balcony which is slabbed block and beam and below is a good sized void. I’m looking to use this as storage space but it leaks. What’s the best way to seal this? Thanks.
