Dont mean to sound contarasending mate but have you defo teed into the return? Also took a pipe from each of the pipes to each rad? Could well be air locked on the new return. Try linking the flow and return together at the furthest point with a gate valve in the middle (like a...

    Planning New Boiler an Rads

Leave the pipework as is.... It will be fine (stop scaring him) We still drop 10mm feeds down to the rads (15mm right above the drop tho tbh) Better off hiring a power flusher mate. ONly £50 for the weekend from HSS. Futher more, i hope you not changing the boiler yourself are you?

Sinking radiator pipes into the wall

dont plaster straight over heating pipes mate, the plaster will just crack over time. If you can, either create a deep chase and bury the pipes then foam them, let the foam go off then cut it flush... Plasterer can go straight over the foam. Other option (best) is to clip them to the wall...

just had a little read up. They need a min of 2bar working pressure (dynamic). Theyre different than a ex vsl in the way that they have a balloon inside as oposed to a flat diapragham. Pretty good to be honest. I fitted 2 bigguns in a hotel a few years ago, Turned the water off at the mains...
