Hi I purchased 2 sets of spotlights for my lounge about a year ago. Each fitting has 3 bulbs (screw in type). As I remember they only had 3 wires on each fitting so what could be simpler? I removed the existing fittings to find a mass of red and black wires coming out of the ceiling. Someone...

I appreciate that it would be a better job, not looking forward to getting chipboard flooring up in a kids bedroom though! Will my original suggestion definately not work?

My 3 bedroom house has microbore pipes (10mm) to the rads. I have just put a conservatory on the side where I will be putting a rad. I will be teeing off the nearest rad. Do I need to run the pipes in 10mm and is there 10mm plastic pipe I can use instead of copper?
