My 3 bedroom house has microbore pipes (10mm) to the rads. I have just put a conservatory on the side where I will be putting a rad. I will be teeing off the nearest rad. Do I need to run the pipes in 10mm and is there 10mm plastic pipe I can use instead of copper?

wont work (depending on the rad size )

Rad I want to tee from is 500H x 1000W, new rad will be 400H x 800W double.
Do I therefore need to locate where the flow & return pipes are 22mm and tee off them there?

better job

I appreciate that it would be a better job, not looking forward to getting chipboard flooring up in a kids bedroom though! Will my original suggestion definately not work?

Ok thanks for your help, I shall take your advice and thankyou for adding a few hours more work onto my already hectic schedule.

No seriously cheers, would have been gutted to do what I was intending to do and it not work
