Which board for a meter back board?

What do you mean by 'grid guys'? Who exactly have you contacted, if your profile if right, you're in London? Which will be UKPN. I'm not sure why they're telling you to supply it, it might be an LPN thing but done south we usually supply them for internal locations, although this may have...

    Site electricity during replacement build

The TBS usually has to go within a meter of the site boundary, but it depends on the site tech that views the job. How far away is the nearest pole? Is it on your land? You can cut cost by trenching up to the pole, laying the duct and putting up the temp meter box yourself. will you be...

Hey guys, I'm struggling to decide on how to position the lights in my my bathroom. It's L shaped, with a bath with a rain shower head. We don't really want a light over the bath ( for when she's laying back looking up) I've got 5 LED down lights - don't have to use them all. I'll attach...

    Levelling plywood floor.

Hey guys. I'm going to be laying vinyl on my bathroom floor. It's 25mm wpb ply, but where 2 sheets join, ones raised by about 3mm, one of them must've been thinner than the other! So I need to level them out with something and feather it out, what's good for this? should I also fill over...

    Tank and tile onto stud...

hey guys, I'm just boarding my bathroom with MR plasterboard, and cutting out for a recessed shelf. It's going to be tanked with a bal wp1 kit then tiled. If I board over the studs where I've cut the recess, it'll be too narrow, so rather than move the stud along a bit, I wondered if it...

    Calypso bathrooms

Hey guys, Just been looking in a new local bathroom showroom. They are dealing with a lot of calypso stuff, but I've not heard of them before and they don't seem to have been bought up on here before. They seem well made and solid. Anyone got any experience of their quality? Cheers.

    Uneven joist

I picked up 2 sheets of 25mm ply yesterday. Got the first one cut and into position, not screwed down yet but F Me what a difference it feels already! Just feels so solid. Because it's thicker it's going to be harder to pull down to the lower joist, but I'm guessing/hoping it'll actually hold...
