Flex 20 with RF portal - TAMP S/C on wireless zone

No, an address or rs485 problem would give bus tampers. You should be seeing 100% on the diags for the RF portal.

Flex 20 with RF portal - TAMP S/C on wireless zone

I've installed in outbuildings in excess of 50 metres, so 15 is pretty close. As you say, it depends on other factors such as wall thickness, reflective insulation, Etc. I wouldn't think it was noise related, as the portal would be issuing jamming notices - unless you have those disabled on...

Flex 20 with RF portal - TAMP S/C on wireless zone

The most recent panel firmware is 3.54, but the last two releases were related to Intellibus fixes and not related to RF.

Flex 20 with RF portal - TAMP S/C on wireless zone

Restarting the panel doesn't restart the portal. I would advise going into eng mode and disconnecting/reconnecting power to the portal. Which portal version do you have fitted? The most recent firmware is V3.00. You can find out the RF Portal firmware level in the diagnostics menu 61.1.9...

Flex 20 with RF portal - TAMP S/C on wireless zone

Try power cycling the portal to see if it corrects the issue.

Honeywell galaxy 2 - will only accept fob help pls

Sounds like the code you have is invalid. If you don't have the master/managers code, then the panel will need the manager and engineers code defaulting.

    Galaxy 3 144C showing code 48736

The Galaxy 144 (G3-144) isn't a Dimension, so lacks some of the features. Although it's a great panel, if spending time and effort installing, I'd probably opt for getting a Dimension board in it. Note that both are compatible with the selfmon vmod, so you can self monitor Etc. The Dimension...

    Galaxy 3 144C showing code 48736

With the Galaxy, the manager code needs to authorise the engineer code. So, use code 12345 to enter menu 48 and enable engineer access. After that the eng code will work. Sounds like adt firmware, where remote reset is enabled by default. Just disable that (menu 67 set to 0). You also need to...

    Smart Alarm System Recommendations

Sounds good. Can't you just integrate the MQTT keypad into HA, then just secure HA and use that instead of crappy phone apps? That way you're not reliant on Texecom's cloud and will be free of any future subscription charges.

    Cooking up advanced smartcom recipes

It's best to go down the MQTT route, as baked-in recipes are always going to be limited. Leave the alarm to perform it's alarm functions and use MQTT to integrate with a program like Home Assistant or Node Red for unlimited home automation control. Someone has generated an MQTT bridge...

MAX ILL-Code / WRONG CD (Galaxy Dimension with Keyprox Mk7)

The log should show which device the illegal code is coming from. If it's a specific keypad, check that the diags are showing 100%. I've seen this with a faulty keypad, but it can also happen with prox readers placed near a transmitting device. Start by pulling the log.

    Honeywell Galaxy Flex FX-50 Firmware

I'll PM you a link for the 3.53 panel firmware. Unfortunately, the A083-00-10 and E080-10 Ethernet modules cannot be field upgraded to the latest V4.14 firmware. You need to buy the new module from Honeywell (or me :) ) if you want the latest.

    High Resistance

Resistance doesn't apply to an RF zone. The RF settings override the regular zone setting.

    Honeywell Galaxy G2-12 Wiring

This is with three cores and a link to 0v in the contact. Some people use 4 cores with two 0v cores from the panel. Either way is fine.

    Galaxy Flex 100+ Woes

I've updated the timings above, as the initial time until the LED illuminates can be around 40 seconds and not 10.

    Galaxy Flex 100+ Woes

Hi, the LED on the Flex will give a very quick flash at power on. It will then illuminate constantly after about 40 seconds, then when the bus is configured after another 50 seconds, it will flash and give a 0.1/0.9-second quick flash. At this point the keypad communication starts. Your panel...

Galaxy G2-12 - Is Firmware Compatible

If you add the vmod, you can connect via Ethernet and take a copy of the panel settings with RSS and then restore them after upgrade.
